“What I enjoy most about developing proposals at Kleinschmidt is working with diverse, intelligent, and clever staff across the country to help solve problems for our clients. Proposals are team problem solving exercises, first trying to understand what the client really needs and then delivering a creative solution that works just right for them.  What’s cool for me is that we are small enough so that I’ve worked with almost everyone in the company and yet big enough with a hugely talented staff to compete and win (!) against anyone and everyone.”

Will joined Kleinschmidt in June 2012 and brings more than 30 years of diverse scientific and marketing experience to our team. He served for 11 years as a proposal manager and marketing specialist for two other Maine-based engineering firms, and previously as an environmental geologist, grant writer, nonprofit executive, and high school science and mathematics teacher. He enjoys the collaborative problem-solving nature of proposal efforts and the creative process involved in developing persuasive marketing materials.

Will holds a B.A. in Geology from Williams College and is an active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).
