Leadership

Susan joined Kleinschmidt in 1999 and her role as Director of Human Resources at Kleinschmidt encompasses several key areas of organizational administration and development.  She leads the areas of Talent Management encompassing Leadership Succession and Employee Development, Recruitment and Retention, and Total Rewards programs.  Susan is a former business education teacher at secondary and post-secondary levels, a certified PeopleMap trainer, holds two national certifications as Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and earned her master’s degree in Business Administration from Thomas College.  In 2014, Susan was selected by her peers as Maine’s 2014 HR Leader of the Year.
