Professional Staff

Karen Bishop is a Scientist Technician in the Essex, Connecticut office. Her areas of interest are in fisheries and aquatic sciences. She has experience in fish passage, freshwater fish population and aquatic habitat assessments. Karen has gained a variety of field sampling experiences working with Vermont Fish and Wildlife and the Connecticut DEEP. She has also managed and maintained a zebrafish aquaculture facility for a Yale genetics lab, including husbandry and genotyping.

Karen holds a B.S. in Fisheries Biology from the University of Vermont.
