Jeff has over 40 years of experience evaluating and enhancing the safety of dams, as well as performing hydrologic analyses and hydraulic modeling for existing and proposed hydroelectric projects, transportation facilities, and site development. Jeff has been approved by the FERC as an Independent Consultant for dam-safety inspections since 1997. He also has considerable experience with several hydrologic and hydraulic models, including DAMBRK, HEC-1, HEC-2, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS.
Jeff has his M.S. in Civil Engineering from University of Idaho and B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Alaska, Maine, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and South Carolina. Jeff is an active member of the Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO), the United States Society on Dams (USSD), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
