Kleinschmidt Board Unanimously Appoints Jon Christensen as New CEO

Pittsfield, ME, 3/20/2018 – Kleinschmidt Associates, an engineering, regulatory, and environmental consulting firm, has announced that its Board of Directors unanimously chose Jon Christensen as their new CEO. Jon had been serving as the interim CEO since November 27, 2017.

“Jon was the obvious choice to become our new CEO. He is a strong leader who understands all the nuances of our organization,” said Andy Qua, Board Chair. Jon started with Kleinschmidt in 1987 and has always had a vision for Kleinschmidt’s success. He brings to this position a multi-faceted point of view and dedication to this company to strategically and compassionately grow Kleinschmidt.

Jon has been with Kleinschmidt for more than 30 years, starting as licensing consultant. He was also a Senior Project Manager for large, complex relicensing, water resource, due diligence and asset evaluation projects and was CFO for more than a decade.

Jon earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Vermont with a concentration in labor relations. He has also completed post-graduate course work in Business Administration and Finance at Thomas College and the University of Maine.
